EDAC Accreditation
Kara Chase, KYCID, LEED AP is currently studying to become EDAC (Evidence-based design accreditation and certification) accredited, an education and assessment program that tests individuals on their understanding of how to base healthcare building decisions on credible research and project evaluation results.

LEED Cerification
Kara Chase and Emily DeYoung recently became LEED Accredited Professionals through the US Green Building Council.

“The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building rating System TM is a third party certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED provides building owners and operators with the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their building performance.”

“LEED accredited professionals are professionals who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with the LEED requirements, resources and processes.”

WBE Certification
Chase Design Group recently became certified as a Woman Business Enterprise through the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District DiverseWorks Program. As a provider of interior design, space-planning services, construction documentation and commercial signage specifications, we can now satisfy the requirements of organizations that must have diverse vendor base.

Kara Chase was featured in the February issue of Kentuckiana Business Forum.

Business First
In 2008 Chase Design Group was named the Louisville Area's top commercial Interior Design Firm by the newspaper Business First. Kara Chase was chosen to be part of Business First's 40 under 40, Class of 2008.
